Brandy Lopez
San Antonio native Brandy Lopez stands at the forefront of the Tejano music entertainment industry. As the Executive Producer and host of the highly popular Internet television program Tejano Classic TV, Brandy reaches thousands of viewers each week, delivering artist interviews, entertainment news and information, and heartwarming human interest stories to a worldwide audience.

Brandy began her career in television appearing in commercials and network soap operas and was twice invited to sing the National Anthem for events hosted by former basketball star and San Antonio Spur, George Iceman Gervin. In 2006, Brandy began working as a special correspondent for Tejano Classic Radio Show along with friend Bobby Lopez. That same year, Brandys dream of owning and hosting her own television program became a reality and Tejano Classic TV made its debut at the Tejano Academy Awards in San Antonio, Texas. With the only broadcast of its kind, Brandy ventured into unchartered territory, but quickly became one of the most visible media personalities in the Latino market.

Known for her vibrant personality and captivating charm, Brandy is now in popular demand as a host and participant in various community and charitable events. In 2007, Brandy was selected to co-host the 27th Annual Tejano Music Awards and was invited to be a presenter at the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame in Alice, Texas. Outside of the realm of Tejano music, Brandy has covered numerous events such as the San Antonio Christmas Parade and actress Eva Longorias Celebrity Golf Tournament. Brandy was recently invited to be a guest speaker at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina during Hispanic Heritage Month and was honored by city and military officials with a plaque and key to the city. She recently hosted Hair Story 2008, an event that featured top Hollywood celebrity stylists and models presenting their latest creations. Brandys upcoming events include a return trip to South Carolina to speak to high school students on the importance of being bilingual, hosting of a cultural event known as Mamapalooza, and appearances in parades and celebrations during one of Americas biggest festivals, Fiesta San Antonio.

Despite the success of her show, Brandy continues to pursue new endeavors in the television and entertainment industry. Tejano Classic TV will be covering the first-ever Cinco De Mayo celebration in Sumter, South Carolina and in a collaborative effort with city and military officials, Brandy is helping pave the way for Tejano entertainment to reach stationed troops in the surrounding area.

Brandy strives to not only entertain but also make a difference in the lives of her viewing audience. Her family-friendly broadcasts are filled with diverse entertainment, great music and informative interviews. She receives her inspiration from the positive feedback sent via email from across the United States and as far away as Italy, Alaska and troops in the Middle East. With enthusiasm, Brandy welcomes what the future holds for Tejano Classic TV and states: I truly believe we walk by faith and not by sight and I thank everyone who continues to stand by me on this journey. Together we can reach for the stars! -Brandy Lopez
